CEOAibek Sharipov, CEO. Mr. Sharipov graduated in 1994 as an International Economist from Turar Ryskulov Kazakh Economics University in Almaty. In the same year he started his professional career at Igilik Bank (Almaty) where he progressed to become head of International Money Transfers. The next year (October 1995), Mr. Sharipov went to Germany to take a 1-year academic course in Business Management at Bremen University of Applied Sciences.

In 1996 he came back to Kazakhstan and joined a consulting firm known as International Business School (Almaty) which in association with the World Bank and the Dutch HIVOS (Humanist Institute for Cooperation) was providing business counseling and training to local small and medium-sized businesses. The emphasis was on teaching entrepreneurs how to draw up a feasible business plan.

In March 1998 Mr. Sharipov went overseas, to Nottingham, England, where he joined REEVES WIRELINE, an enterprise manufacturing electronic equipment for exploration of oil and other mineral resources. His work assignment as Assistant to Director Finance was sponsored by the British Council and lasted until April 1999. His main responsibility at REEVES was maintaining liaison between the British company and its Kazakh counterparts in the field of oil exploration.

1999—2000. Financial analyst at Philip Morris Kazakhstan (Almaty).

2000—2004. Credit analyst at ATF Bank (Almaty). Scrutinizing loan applications and putting up his expert opinion for consideration by the Credit committee.

2004—2008. Project manager at Parasat Group LLP (Almaty), in charge of housing construction and real estate development projects.

2008—2010. Economy and Planning engineer at ADANI LLP (Almaty). Supervised a USD5 mln construction project.
